The 2008 Better Newspaper Contest

Newspaper Contest are included HERE.
The biggest change this year is the method of entering photographs. Prints will no longer be required — or accepted. Photos will be entered as full-page tearsheets or photocopies of full-page tearsheets. Winners in these categories will be asked to email photos to MPA for use in the contest display, slide show and results tabloid.
Other changes:
• Number of entries, where applicable, raised to 6 per newspaper, no more than 4 per person.
• Category added: Best Coverage of Health and Wellness
• The categories Family Living Coverage and Coverage of Young People were combined in the Weeklies Division into “Coverage of Family Living and Young People”
• Best of Show voting on photos during the awards reception will be by secret ballot rather than stickers placed on photos.
Entries shipped to Missouri Press must be postmarked by April 30.
